Greatest Singers: Jonas Kaufmann
 
Jonas Kaufmann (born 10 July 1969) is a German operatic tenor. He is best known for his performances in spinto roles such as Don José in Carmen, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Maurizio in Adriana Lecouvreur, and the title role in Don Carlos. He has also sung leading tenor roles in the operas of Richard Wagner with success in Germany and abroad, most notably the Metropolitan Opera in New York. He is also an accomplished Lieder singer.

Dame (Carolyn) Emma Kirkby, DBE (born 26 February 1949) is an English soprano and one of the world's most renowned early music specialists who has sung on well over a hundred recordings. She was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2007 Queen's Birthday Honours List.
 
Emma Kirkby - Nulla In Mundo Pax Sincera
The great British soprano Dame Emma Kirkby singing Nulla In Mundo Pax Sincera (RV 630), a sacred motet composed by Antonio Vivaldi to an anonymous Latin text. The programme of BBC Prom 39 at the Royal Albert Hall included works by Vivaldi, Handel and Bach, Nulla In Mundo being the only solo piece sung by Kirkby. The concert took place on Monday 17 August 1998 with the Academy of Ancient Music conduced by Christopher Hogwood.
